Bargainwatch: Meantime IPA and London Porter on offer at Sainsbury’s
Quick heads-up for UK supermarket beer-shoppers. Our local branch of Sainsbury's has 750ml, wine-bottle sized Meantime London Porter and Meantime India Pale Ale on offer at 2-for-£7, as opposed to the usual £4.59 (ish) each.
They also have a whole selection of bottled real ales at 2-for-£3 or 3-for-2 or something, but they've been running this sort offer all year as far as I can tell. The Meantime one is new. And both those beers are rather special. You'd be mad not to.

Good spot, I'd like to try their IPA, shame I don't have a local Sainsburys...

I still think the best offer at Sainsbury is the one on Brewdog. Even now without discount the beers are £1.30 for anything from Punk, Hardcore, Dogma and Chaos in 330ml bottles. At discounted prices they normally come in at £1 a bottle. They have also been pushing Meantime Pilsner and Wheat Beer in 330ml bottles at the same price as the Brewdog offer.

@Ben - Our local Sainsbury's just has Punk at £1.30 - they sold out of the others when the summer promo ended. Tesco had been selling both Punk and 77 Lager at 99p but last time I checked they'd both gone back up a bit.
