Supping a quick pint of Northern Deep Dark Secret (dark mild?). Sour-sweet, chocolatey but v thin, almost watery. Served too cold, maybe?

Forgot to mention... last time I was in Tesco they had Sierra Nevada Pale Ale at 3 for £4.

Quick pint of Dark Star Sussex Extra Stout at the Bree Louise before return train. Flat as a pancake (gravity pour) but still tasty.

Next up: Little Creatures Pale Ale - rich, malty, very tasty indeed - this place need to put its beer list on their website!

just had a Boag's Premium Lager on @thenashmeister's long-standing recommendation - malty, citrusy, a nice drop all-round

I take it back - the restaurant has Cooper's Best Extra Stout in the fridge. Result!

#Beerswap beer no.3 - Harvey's Imperial Extra Double Stout - it's... almost indescribable. Genuinely like no beer I've tasted before...

Second #beerswap beer is a Dark Star Imperial Stout. Rich, smooth, packed full of intense flavours. Quite, quite delicious.

Sampling my #beerswap beers. First up - Ascot Alligator Ale. Very dry, very hoppy, quite citrusy. Loads of flavour and character. Lovely.

Hopdaemon #2 - Skrimshander IPA - long, distinct, sharp hop flavours and a long, dry finish. Rather splendid.

Sampling the first of this evening's three beers from Hopdaemon - Green Daemon Helles - and it's bloody lovely :)
